The Economy: Good? Bad? Ugly?

Remember the mantra from years past, “It’s the economy, stupid?” Today, our economy is still vital to everyone from Joe, the plumber, to the global community. Everyone has an opinion about our economy. Some say it is good, others say it is bad, and many claim that it is downright ugly.

There are two sides to every coin. I thought you might appreciate a balanced and studied economic summary from a senior economist, Brian Wesbury, whom I have found to be correct much of the time. Here is a link to his recent report for his First Trust clients. First Trust offers a free subscription to their economic reports.

“Effective marketing doesn’t take millions. It takes imagination, enthusiasm, and the willingness to experiment and change.”

Tip: Review your website with an eye to how it appears on today’s smartphones and tablets. Yesterday’s website layout may appear clumsy and hard to read on the new devices.

Tip: Why not assume that you really can improve what you are doing for your clients…then do so!

Smiles make the day!
Profound thoughts from George Carlin

  • Women like silent men…they actually think they’re listening.

  • Age is a very high price for maturity!

  • Can vegetarians eat animal crackers?

  • Before they invented drawing boards, what did people go back to?

  • If you try to fail and succeed, which have you done?

  • Why do they lock gas station rest rooms? Are they afraid someone will clean them?

  • If the #2 pencil is the most popular kind, why is it still only #2?

  • Men are from Earth. Women are from Earth. Learn to deal with it!

A client speaks:

“I have worked with Dick for almost a year and I must say that hiring Dick Morgan was one of the best business decisions that I have ever made. I highly recommend Dick Morgan.” David Brahler, Springfield, Illinois

Our ideal client: is a business owner or CEO, 30 to 60+ years of age. Usually with a financial, engineering, or production background. Our client is often impatient, and interested in improving company performance. Comes alive when you ask, “How’s business?” He, or she is practical but also enjoys the finer things in life. So, you may see my client driving a Lexus or SUV to Neiman Marcus…and to Sam’s Club. Who do you know that fits this description?

P.S. Ninety-three percent of our engagements originate as a referral from helpful people like you. Please don’t keep me a secret!
